Positive Lithium Results from Thirteenth Exploration Well
Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp. (TSXV: LIT | FSE: OAY3 | OTCQX: LILIF) has announced encouraging lithium results from its Rincon West Project located in Salta Province, Argentina. The company revealed that the thirteenth exploration well (RW-DDH-13) yielded 24 representative brine samples over a 327-meter interval. Lithium concentrations ranged from 269 to 340 mg/l, further supporting the project’s potential for high-grade lithium brine extraction.
“Our most recent drilling aims to test highly prospective sandy layers interspaced with crystalline halite formations located along our eastern boundary near Rio Tinto’s Rincon Project. To build on these results, we are currently drilling the 14th and final diamond hole of the campaign and have commenced rotary drilling for pump testing,” stated Miles Rideout, VP of Exploration at Argentina Lithium & Energy Corp.
Argentina Lithium’s Expansion with Final Drilling at Rincon West
The company is rapidly advancing its Rincon West Project, which covers 5198.8 hectares in the salar basin. The project consists of three property blocks adjacent to Rio Tinto’s well-known Rincon Project. Drill hole RW-DDH-13 is the fourth of six exploration holes planned for the Rinconcita II property block.
Argentina Lithium is completing its fifth diamond drill hole (RW-DDH-14), which will conclude the current exploration drilling program along the eastern border of the property. The results of this exploration campaign will help the company define further resource potential within the salar basin.

Brine Recovery Testing and Pump Tests Planned for Production-Scale Wells
Following these promising results, Argentina Lithium plans to send core samples for brine recovery testing to an independent laboratory. In addition, the company is actively preparing for pump tests on production-scale wells, with a rotary well currently being drilled adjacent to RW-DDH-11.
Pump testing will be critical in determining the feasibility of scaling up production, as well as assessing the long-term sustainability of lithium extraction from the Rincon West Project.
