Freegold Ventures Limited announced Wednesday significant high-grade gold intercepts from its ongoing drilling program at the Golden Summit Project in Alaska, including 115.85 g/t Au over 3.1 meters.
The drilling is part of a 50,000-meter 2026 program aimed at refining the geological model and advancing a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS).
Other notable results include 33.71 g/t Au over 9.5 meters and 35.73 g/t Au over 3.0 meters.
The Tamarack discovery may extend the mineralized system 500 meters to the east.
As of July 2025, Golden Summit hosts an indicated resource of 17.2 million ounces of gold.
Six drill rigs are currently active on site.
High-Grade Results Drive Project Advancement
The latest results from the Dolphin–Cleary–WOW corridor highlight the potential for high-grade domains within the larger mineralized system.
Hole GS2556 returned 115.85 g/t Au over 3.1 meters starting at a depth of 471.5 meters.
This interval featured visible gold in quartz veins and occurred within a broader mineralized zone of 0.78 g/t Au over 166.7 meters.
Visible gold was also noted in hole GS2556 at 337.4 meters, yielding 25.36 g/t Au over 2.4 meters.

The 2026 drilling program focuses on infill drilling to tighten up higher-grade domains.
Data from these holes will support an updated mineral resource estimate and the upcoming PFS for Golden Summit.
“The consistency of these high-grade intercepts is a critical component of our de-risking strategy,” a company representative noted.
The program also aims to confirm the continuity of mineralization between known zones and the new Tamarack discovery.
Expanding the Mineralized Footprint
The Tamarack discovery is a key focus for the exploration team this season.
Current geological modeling suggests the mineralized system could extend 500 meters further east than previously identified.
This extension would significantly increase the footprint of the Dolphin–Cleary–WOW corridor.
Recent drilling at Tamarack has encountered similar quartz vein hosted mineralization seen in the core Dolphin zone.

Six rigs are operating 24 hours a day to meet the 50,000-meter goal before the end of the 2026 season.
The acceleration of the program follows strong investor interest and a robust gold price forecast for 2026.
Market analysts suggest that high-grade intercepts in Tier-1 jurisdictions like Alaska are becoming increasingly rare.
Golden Summit is located near the Fort Knox mine, providing a clear path for infrastructure and logistical support.
Resource Scale and Economic Significance
Golden Summit already ranks among the largest undeveloped gold deposits in North America.
The July 2025 resource update reported 17.2 million ounces of gold in the indicated category.
This is supported by an inferred resource of 6.4 million ounces of gold.
The current infill program is designed to convert a significant portion of the inferred resources into the indicated category.
Higher confidence in resource grades is essential for the financial modeling required in the PFS.
The company is also monitoring AISC trends for 2026 to optimize future mine planning.
Lowering the all-in sustaining cost remains a priority for the project to ensure resilience against potential price fluctuations.

| GS2556 | 471.5 | 474.6 | 3.1 | 115.85 |
| GS2558 | 321.0 | 330.5 | 9.5 | 33.71 |

Geopolitical and Regulatory Context
Alaska continues to be viewed as a premier mining jurisdiction due to its stable regulatory environment.
The recent focus on mining permit reform could benefit projects like Golden Summit as they move toward production.
Faster permitting timelines are a significant advantage for large-scale projects requiring substantial capital investment.
Freegold Ventures has maintained a strong relationship with local stakeholders and government officials.
The project is situated on private land, which often simplifies the permitting process compared to federal lands.
This jurisdictional stability makes the project an attractive candidate for mining M&A activity in 2026.
Major gold producers are actively seeking large-scale assets in safe jurisdictions to replenish their reserves.
Geological Modeling and Future Exploration
The 2026 program is utilizing advanced 3D geological modeling to target high-grade zones.
Geologists are focusing on the intersection of major structural corridors where mineralization is most concentrated.

Understanding the “plumbing system” of the deposit allows for more precise drill targeting and resource definition.
The Dolphin zone remains open at depth and along strike to the west.
Exploration teams are also testing several satellite targets identified through geophysical surveys.
These targets have the potential to add further ounces to the project outside of the main Dolphin area.
The 50,000-meter program is currently on schedule and within budget.

Operational Outlook for H2 2026
Freegold Ventures expects to continue its aggressive drilling pace through the summer months.
Initial metallurgical testing results are anticipated in the third quarter.
These results will provide clarity on gold recoveries and processing options for the PFS.
The company remains well-funded following its recent capital raise.
“We are entering the most intensive phase of the project’s history,” the technical lead stated.
Investors and analysts will be watching for the next batch of results from the Tamarack discovery.
Successful expansion of the eastern extension could re-rate the project’s valuation.
Golden Summit continues to be a central pillar of the Alaskan gold sector in 2026.
