LOVELOCK, Nev. : Copper One Resources has surpassed 2,400 feet of drilling in its 2026 exploration campaign at the Majuba Hill project, marking a critical milestone for the company’s first AI-assisted core hole.
The hole, designated MHB-37B, is the first at the site to utilize ExploreTech AI-assisted targeting. The program is designed to reach approximately 2,500 feet to test complex geophysical models and breccia mapping generated by advanced algorithms. The integration of artificial intelligence into the exploration process follows recent mining permits reform aimed at accelerating domestic mineral development in the United States.

Copper One confirmed that the first 1,760 feet of core from MHB-37B have been transported to ALS Laboratories in Reno for geochemical analysis. While drilling continues toward the target depth, the company noted that assay results remain pending. Majuba Hill, located in Pershing County, remains the company’s flagship asset, hosting known copper, silver, and gold mineralization.

The 2026 drill program aims to expand the known footprint of the mineralized system. By combining traditional geological mapping with ExploreTech’s predictive modeling, Copper One is seeking to identify high-grade corridors that may have been overlooked in historical campaigns. This technological pivot comes at a time when copper mining news globally has been dominated by supply chain constraints and operational disruptions.

In addition to its Nevada operations, Copper One holds an option on the Redhill Property in British Columbia. However, management remains focused on the potential of Majuba Hill to provide a stable, domestic source of critical minerals. Further updates on the 2026 program and the results of the pending assays are expected in the coming weeks.
