ANCHORAGE, Alaska : Nova Minerals Ltd. (ASX: NVA, OTCQB: NVAAF) has identified a high-priority gold target at its Estelle Gold Project, following surface sampling results that confirmed high-grade mineralization west of the existing RPM deposit.
The discovery, located within the West Susitna Mineral District, highlights a significant expansion of the mineralized footprint at the project. Rock samples collected during the 2025 exploration season at the “RPM West” target yielded gold grades as high as 24.6 g/t. This development sets the stage for a targeted drilling campaign scheduled for 2026, as the company seeks to replicate the success of its flagship RPM deposit.
For investors, the timing is critical. Alaska’s Tintina Gold Belt: a province hosting some of the world’s largest gold systems: remains a focal point for Tier 1 discoveries. Nova Minerals is now positioning itself to prove that RPM is not an isolated occurrence, but part of a much larger, high-grade corridor.
The Numbers Behind the Discovery
The 2025 exploration program was not a cursory glance at the surface. It was a systematic, data-driven assault on the Estelle Project’s 35-kilometer mineralized trend.
The company covered 75 line kilometers and collected a massive dataset: 430 soil samples, 170 rock samples, and 26 stream sediment samples. The results were immediate. Approximately 2 to 3 kilometers west of the main RPM area, geologists discovered a quartz-sulfide vein within felsic intrusive rock that graded an astonishing 246 g/t Au.
That is not a typo.
While that peak assay represents a localized high-grade vein, the broader sampling at RPM West returned consistent results, including peak assays of 24.6 g/t Au. Three separate samples in the area exceeded 10 g/t Au. On the northern section of the main RPM ridge, the highest rock sample graded 11.7 g/t Au, further validating the northern extension of the mineralized system.
The geochemistry tells a compelling story. Nine soil samples along the northern RPM ridge showed gold concentrations significantly above background levels, with one reaching 1.6 g/t Au. In the world of soil sampling, those are loud numbers. They point to a buried system that is leaking gold to the surface.

Why RPM West Matters
The significance of RPM West lies in its proximity to the existing RPM resource. In mining, “near-mine exploration” is the lowest-risk, highest-reward strategy. If Nova can prove that the high-grade “pods” identified at RPM North and RPM South extend or repeat at RPM West, the project’s economics shift from robust to exceptional.

What Nova has found at RPM West is the classic RIRGS “smoke.” The high-grade quartz-sulfide veins (like the 246 g/t Au outlier) suggest a high-energy mineralizing event. When you find these veins at the surface, you aren’t just looking at a single vein; you are looking at the plumbing system of a much larger body of mineralization.
The 2025 program successfully mapped these plumbing systems across 75 kilometers. By identifying these anomalies now, Nova is shortening the path to a resource upgrade.

The 2026 Inflection Point
The mining industry is currently grappling with a paradox. While gold prices hover near historic highs, capital for exploration remains selective. Investors are no longer interested in “blue sky” promises; they want high-grade targets and clear timelines.
